Julien Lefranc

Julien Lefranc was born in 1984 in Marseille, France. He studied chemistry at the Université de la Mediterranée, Marseille, and then moved to the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier in 2006. In 2008, he joined the group of Prof. Jonathan Clayden at the University of Manchester where he obtained his PhD working on the syntheses of α-tertiary amines. In 2012, Julien joined the group of Prof. Dirk Trauner as a postdoctoral researcher where he worked on Natural Product synthesis. Since 2014, Julien has been working as a lab leader in Medicinal Chemistry for Bayer in Berlin in the field of oncology.
